Newsbyte: SAP Helps Retailers Run Simple for Success at NRF

NEW YORK, Jan. 8, 2015 /TRENDINGGLOBALNEWS/ -- SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) will showcase its operating principle Run Simple and its commitment to simpler, smarter operations at the NRF 104th Annual Convention & EXPO, being held January 11-14 in New York City. Located in booth #3205 at "Retail's Big Show," SAP and hybris, an SAP company, will highlight solutions from the SAP for Retail solution portfolio that help transform retail business operations with unified and simplified processes.

Pat Bakey, global head of Consumer Industries at SAP, will kick-start NRF on Sunday morning with a keynote address, "Game Changer: Loyalty and Performance Lessons from Passionate Sports Fandom," in which a panel of top sports executives will provide insight on how retailers can create fan engagement and improve business performance. The keynote will take place January 11 at 9:00 a.m. EST in the North Hall at the Javits Convention Center.

Also on Sunday, Charles Nicholls, senior vice president of Product Strategy, Marketing Solutions, at hybris, will be joined by Robin Shah, head of Phenix Program at Nespresso, for a session on "Optimizing the Consumer Experience Across Channels and Devices." Held in the third level of the Expo Hall in Big Ideas Room 3 from 10:15-10:45 a.m. EST, the session will delve into new consumer research, addressing how retailers can optimize the customer experience for multiple devices and drive conversions across different channels.

In addition to retailer-led customer sessions in the "SAP Retail Theater," ULTA Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. and other retailers will have designated showcase sections in the SAP booth. The featured retailers will demonstrate how they use SAP solutions to improve business efficiencies, merchandising and marketing, engage with consumers and drive sales.
